Your tour includes visits to St. Mark's Basilica, with its rich decoration of marbles and golden mosaics, and the Doge's Palace, once the seat of government and residence of the doges. Rovinj, Croatia. Rovinj is a picturesque Istrian town known as the Northern Dubrovnik. The town rises up on a peninsula and is a witness to times gone by and the valuable accomplishments of its past artisans. The limited space led to the construction of narrow buildings, streets and small town squares. Of particular interest in this town centre are the characteristically designed chimneys. The town itself was declared a cultural monument in 1963.

Poreč, an ancient town famous for its sacred buildings dating from the Roman and early Christian era. You will visit the Euphrasius basilica, one of the finest of the early Byzantine churches. Also visit Marafor, the oldest part of the town, where you will see the remains of two Roman temples: the Temple of Mars and Neptune's Temple. Countinue to Pula where you will visit the monuments from the Roman Empire: the famous Roman Amphitheatre (which is a symbol of Pula) where today all sorts of festivities are held, The Forum, The Augustus Temple, Double and Hercules Gates, the Mausoleum. Have a lunch in Pula, then proceed to a little fishermen’s town: Fažana.

Visit Bled, Slovenia. En route visit the Postojna Caves, the second largest series of caverns in Europe. This natural wonder has been continuously shaped and enlarged over millions of years. You will travel through the 12-mile cave system onboard a special train.

Enjoy a morning sightseeing of the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana has been the capital city of Slovenia for almost 200 years and is characterized by its beautiful Baroque architecture. Head out of the city in the afternoon for the region of Lake Bled, which sits at the bottom of the Julian Alps. Visit Bled Castle which stands on a rock approximately 100 yards above the lake with wonderful views of the town, lake and surrounding countryside. The castle museum has a large collection of armor and weapons from the 16th to 18th centuries. Your tour also includes a boat to St. Mary Island
