On arrival in Nairobi you will be met and helped to clear Kenyan Customs and Immigrations (look for your name on a sign as you approach the passport controls area).
After checking into your hotel, you will be collected from the hotel lobby for a half day of sightseeing and activities in the Nairobi area. First, you will visit the Giraffe Center. This is a sanctuary for the rare and protected Rothschild Giraffe, one of the 3 types of giraffe found in Kenya.
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage
At the heart of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust's conservation activities is the Orphans’ Project, which has achieved world-wide acclaim through its hugely successful elephant and rhino rescue and rehabilitation program. You have a very special date with the baby elephants at the Elephant Orphanage, located in Nairobi National Park. You will spend time with the baby elephants.
Charter Flight to Amboseli Airstrip
This morning you will be collected from the hotel lobby and transferred to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Upon arrival at the Nairobi Wilson Airport, you will be assisted to your scheduled flight to Amboseli Airstrip. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Tortilis Camp.
Today you will enjoy an afternoon game in Amboseli National Park. The area is famous for the dramatic views of Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world, and the highest peak on the African continent. Amboseli has some of the largest elephants in Africa.
Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands
Today you will depart for a 2-hour drive to the Namanga Border Post. At Namanga, you will exit Kenya and proceed through Immigration & Customs Control into Tanzania. This stop should take about an hour. On clearing Tanzania passport controls, you will be met by your private driver/guide for transfer to Acacia Farm Lodge, enjoying a game drive in Lake Manyara area along the way.
You will spend today exploring this world- famous wildlife area with your guide with a drive into the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point.
Hot Air Balloon Ride in the Serengeti
Today you will be transferred to the Lake Manyara Airstrip. You will then board your charter flight to Serengeti.
Balloon safaris are a romantic and evocative way of experiencing the wilderness of East Africa, as you silently fly over the plains teeming with herds of wildlife in the early morning. The safari is followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush, a fitting end to a memorable flight in the wild.
Day 6
Zanzibar
Explore Zanzibar
The island of Zanzibar offers up a variety of exciting experiences, including a day trip to Stone Town, explorations of the 19th century spice trade, snorkeling, sunbathing on uninhabited islands, walking in the Jozani Forest, enjoying fishing, and any number of other relaxing or adventurous activities. The hotel's guest experience team will help you to organize a tailor-made tour to optimize your stay.
Day 7
Zanzibar
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the Zanzibar Airport where you will be helped to check in for your flights home.
